He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Knight Allen, Jr. and Althea Weldon Allen; and his son James Edward Allen. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Allen of Jefferson; his daughter Kristina DeRaps (Christopher) of Jefferson; his daughter-in-law Shannon Allen of Missouri; and his grandchildren, Shelby, Paige, Stephanie, Adam, Justin, Trace, Audryanna and Emelyn.
