Alan Dale Farrington Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Dale Farrington of Jay, Maine, who passed away on November 20, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vinton H. Farrington and Helen L. Clement Farrington; and his siblings, Janice Rackliff, Keith, Arnold and Barry.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Farrington of Jay; his children, Monique Cunningham (Joel) of Jay and Marty Farrington (Amanda) of Jay; his grandchildren, Austin Henault of Jay, Bryana Magoon (Dakin) of Vassalboro, Lance Cunningham of Jay, Dakota of Jay and Dylan Farrington of Jay; and his brother-in-law Elliot Rackliff (Mickey). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
At Alan's request, there will be no funeral with the COVID-19 pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that in keeping with Alan's love of animals, a memorial donation may be made to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, 550 Industry Rd., Farmington, ME 04938.
