She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Matson (Swanson) and Walter Matson; her husband Donald A. Simmons; her brother Mike Matson; her brother-in-law Robert Foster; her children-in-law, Mark Daggett and Valerie J. Simmons; her grandson Shane Simmons; and her niece Wanda Matson.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald W. Simmons of Friendship and Keith A. Simmons of Friendship; her daughter-in-law Karen Simmons of Friendship; her daughters, Dianne Daggett of Cushing and Annette Reed (Dave Sanbloom) of Friendship; her sister Hilma Foster of Waldoboro; and her sister-in-law Dottie Simmons of Friendship. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
