It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Johnston (Fort Fairfield, Maine), born in Presque Isle, Maine, who passed away on January 8, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Loomis Gulliver Johnston of Fort Fairfield; and her siblings, Ralph, Bill, Harold, Marilyn, Gladys, Sarah (Sally) and Mabel.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith and Wayne; her daughter-in-law Penny Johnston (Devine) of Fort Fairfield; her grandchildren, Christopher Johnston (Kelley) of Presque Isle, Richard Johnston (Kerry) of York and Angela Thibeau (Marc) of Rye, NH.; her great grandchildren, Colton Johnston of Presque Isle, Riley, Kelsey Johnston of York and Heather Thibeau of Rye, NH; her niece Elaine Tedeschi of Lebanon, NH; and her daughter-in-law Jean Shaw of Caribou. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
To honor and respect Vera the request is made that donations be given to the activities fund at Northern Light Continuing Care, PO Box 410, Mars Hill, ME 04758, where she was a resident.
