“With deepest love and sympathy to the family of Francis and Joan Haley. He was my classmate and friend from grade school in Kittery - to our graduation at U of M. with degrees in Geology. Joan became my friend when he phoned and introduced us. Our letters have been our "visits". What a happy life Joan and Francis have had! And now, together again, on the biggest field trip ever! My heart goes out to all of the family - and to the geology students who loved them, too! - Hazel Standeven”
