He was predeceased by: his wife Carmella R. Gioia (LaTerza); and his sister Anna C. Carroll. He is survived by: his children, Donna Gioia (Peter Bennett) of Hampton, NH, Paul Gioia of Bridgton, ME and Angela Gioia (Stephen Cole) of No; his grandchildren, Robert S. O'Leary of Tewksbury, MA, Shane Taylor of Newport, RI, Alexandra "Alex" Taylor of Mesa, AZ, Harold Irving (Devon), John Paul "Johnny" Irving (Jordan Taylor) of Crawfordville, FL and Christina Richert of Wareham, MA.; his brothers, Paul, Salvatore, Frank A., Joseph, Anthony and Angelo Gioia; and his great grandchild Emma Welch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.
