He was predeceased by: his parents, David Thomas Sr. and Iva Thomas (Payne); his stepmother Kay; and his wife Dot. He is survived by: his stepson Jeff Adair of Hiram; his siblings, Louise Braley of Kentucky and Larry Thomas of New Mexico; his great-nephews, Sergeant Morgan Bingham and Specialist Liam Opie; and his nephew-in-law Clifford P. Daigle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
