He is survived by: his wife Barbara Acker of Bowdoinham; his son Allen Acker (Kate); his parents, Albert D. Acker of Bowdoinham and Beverly F. Acker of Bowdoinham; his siblings, Patricia Acker-Bailey (David) of Mechanicsburg, Edward Acker, Kenneth Acker of Scarborough and Douglas Acker (Laurie) of Gardnerville; and also, Charles, Tony, Louise, Sara, Cathy and Mary. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
