He was predeceased by: his parent Marion Drew McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Shirley McDonald; his daughters, Kelly Lint (George), Lisa Lang (Denis), Ronda Chasse (Gerry) and Stacy Wright (Tim); his grandchildren, Jessica Murray, Crystal Gosselin (Warren), Tyler Lang, Lauren Reeve (Howard), Brandon Chasse, Nicholas Chasse (Erin), Alyssa Wright and Abby Wright; his siblings-in-law, Ken, Marty Dionne and Tom Cummings; and also, Camryn Gosselin, Callie Gosselin and Charlotte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
