He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Simpson and Catherine Simpson; his daughter Sharon Gallant; and his aunt Blanche Gale. He is survived by: his wife Esther R. George; his children, Terry McNeal, Carol Hann (Darla), Carrie Thomas (Breyton), David Hooper (Michelle), Thomas Hooper and Clifton Hooper Jr. (Roberta); his stepchildren, Raymond Rines and Vicki Ryder (John); and his brother Harry Simpson (Linda). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces.
