He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Whittier and Doris Whittier (Lorimer). He is survived by: his wife Gloria of Auburn; his daughters, Erin Gilpatrick (Rob) of Oakland, ME, Elin Whittier (Stephen Brandao) of Easton, MA. and Elisa Whittier (Joe Grant) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Jared Gilpatrick (Janna) and Shaenen Gilpatrick (Rhonda Cole); his great grandchildren, Jace Gilpatrick, Elijah Cole Gilpatrick and Kaeya Cassani; and his sister Ann Hill (Jim) of Turner.
