He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Courbron, Sr. and Maria Courbron (Goller); his siblings, Kathleen Adams, Theresa Desrosier and Paul Courbron; and his son Jason Courbron.

He is survived by: his mother-in-law Mary Anne Charest of Lewiston; his friend Don Delcourt; his grandson Gage Courbron; his wife Mary Anne of Auburn; his children, Zani Courbron of Bangor, Jimmy Courbron of Brunswick and Jody Courbron of Greene; and his sisters, Rosemary Merrill, Audrey Pelkey, Janet Kirouac and Debra Dostie. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
