She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter O. Fleming and Lillian May Fleming; and her sibling W. Russell Fleming. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Gist of Woodbine, MD; her children, Denise Maskell (Kevin) and Sandy McElroy (Jim); her sister Ethel Conaway of Sykesville; her grandchildren, Thomas Maskell (Jennifer), Daniel, Matthew, Mark Maskell, Jessica Fandel (Brandon) and Jimmy McElroy; and her great grandchildren, Connor McElroy, Jacksyn, Cheyenne, Emersyn Fandel, Annabelle McElroy, Amelia and Theodore Maskell.
