She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Leroy Colson and Barbara Jane Colson (Harrison). She is survived by: her husband John Joseph Taggert; her sons, Randy Wright and J. J. Taggart, Jr. (Julie Shipley); her siblings, Gail Porter, Deborah Boone, Betty Harrison, Dennis Colson, Howard Colson, Ricky Colson, Charles Colson and Bonnie Colson; and her pet Luna.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of Carroll County, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158 Arrangements by BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY.
