“Leonard was the last or one of the last of the Potomac, Md. originals. I have known him since 1960 at Mitch and Bills Esso station where a bunch of us in high schoolers waited for the school bus. When that bunch got driver's licenses a year or two later, he was one of the attendants who then pumped our gas, cleaned the windshield and checked the oil. He was definitely a Potomac institution for many years, and I am sorry to hear we have lost another from that great era. Best to his family.”
