She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Wairimu and James Njuki Munano; and her siblings, Dr. Peter Munano, John Chege, Japheth Kiragu, Stephen Githinji, David Mathara and Ben Macharia.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa; and her siblings, Daniel Kagucia and Sarah Wambui Munano. She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
HCP started in 2006 as a non-profit organization founded to meet the needs of orphans because of the AIDS pandemic in Gituto, one of the Districts in Muranga, Kenya.
