He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Poole and Catherine Poole (Saylor); and his siblings, Howard M., Edward W. Poole, Ruth Shipley, Doris Leppo and Virginia Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Poole (Ecker); his children, Barry Poole of Hanover, PA and Vicki Poole; his stepdaughter Susan Slezak (Richard) of Hanover, PA; and his sister Janet "Nook" Lang of Westminster. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services are private.
