She was predeceased by: her parents, William Takush and Sophie Macejewski Takush; her husband Arthur Carey; and her brothers, Vincent and Michael Takush.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Koerber (Tom) of Finksburg and Donna Carey of Westminster; and her grandson Brent Koerber of Westminster.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in her name, to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
