She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Meunier and Blanche V. Meunier (Fontaine); her husband Vernon B. Powell; her daughter Debra Anne Cushon; her grandson Anthony Powell; her brother Gerard Meunier; and her close friend Jim Elswick.

She is survived by: her children, Michael A. Powell of Troupsburg, NY, Steven D. Powell (Heather) of Westminster and Linda Murphy (Raymond) of Hampstead; her son-in-law Terry Cushon of Cashtown, PA; her grandchildren, Lauren, Christian, Brittany Powell, Dawn Hall, Nicholas Murphy, Jessica Lare, Evan and Alexandra Powell; her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Aubrey, Mya, Rayford and Vivian; her siblings, Irene Bankert (Richard) of Taneytown, Bernadette Elkins (Everett) of Littlestown, Lawrence Meunier (Sue) of Fairbanks and Robert Meunier (Patsy) of Thurmont; and her sister-in-law Carol Meunier of Taneytown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic graveside services at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Taneytown will be private.
