He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Barnes and Mary Barnes (Ernst). He is survived by: his wife Dawn Barnes; his daughter Erin Maltese (Tyler); his grandson Roman; his brother Randy Barnes (Judy) of Annapolis; his nephew Michael Barnes (Jessica) of Millersville; his niece Terri Leeds (Richard) of Odenton; and his great-nieces, Lauren, Katie Leeds, Brooke and Grace Barnes.
Memorial contributions in his honor are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
