It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Blacksten of Westminster, Maryland, born in Unionville, Maryland, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hatfield and Geneva Smith Hatfield; and her husband Howard T. Blacksten. She is survived by: her daughter Dixie Lee Gouge of Sharon, SC; and her grandchildren, Vickie Auten (Sean), Jack Gouge (Brea) and Dawn Patrick (Randy). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
