He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Samuel Utz and Lillian Alice Keeney Utz; and his siblings, Doris, Tammy Utz and Richard Utz.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lee Utz; his daughters, Kimberly Utz Sentz of Aspers, PA and Angela Utz Conley (Michael) of Gettysburg, PA; his brothers, Robert Utz (Lynn) of Manchester, Ronald Utz (Brenda) of Littlestown, PA and Donald Utz of Emmittsburg; and his grandsons, Colton, Matthew Sentz, Charles and Owen Conley.
