He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pauline Lawrence and Reaver; his wife Margaret Leister (Rodkey); his children, Donald "Buster" Leister, Jr. of Westminster, Daniel Leister of Silver Run and Donna Derr (Scott) of Union Bridge; his siblings, Richard "Did" Lawrence (Wanda) of Taneytown, Louise Black of New Windsor and Ralph "Jim" Lawrence (Jane) of Taneytown; his grandchildren, Jacob Leister (Bonnie), Robert Leister, Heather Wetzel (R. J.) and Cameron Derr; his great grandchildren, Jacob and Brantley; and his grandson Timothy Leister. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
