She was predeceased by: her husband Walter D. Simpson; her parents, Joseph Colson and Pauline Duvall Colson; and also Thomas Allen Pickett. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Allen (Lisa Pickett) of Westminster, Belinda Gonder of Westminster, Melissa (Scott Linton) of Westminster, Timothy (Amberly Pickett) of Westminster and Tina (Matt) of Cromwell; her grandchildren, Amanda, Katelyn, Gregory, Dennis, Samantha, Ashlyn, Emily, T. J., Autumn, Matthew, Taylor and Mason; and her great grandchild Caroline.
