He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schafferman and Emma Schafferman (Vance); his wife Nancy B. Schafferman (Gaylord); his daughter Kathy; his son-in-law Jim McFarland; and his siblings, Raymond, Eugene Schafferman, Delores and Audrey Rose.
He is survived by: his children, David Schafferman, II (Diane) of Westminster, Kim Schafferman (Donald Nelson) of Westminster, Tracey Martin (Doug Schmidt) of Westminster and Stacey Liberto (Timothy) of Westminster; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Steven Schafferman, Matthew Schafferman (Amanda), Amanda Follmer, Ashley McFarland, Mark Gilberto, II (Amanda), Dominick, Dillon Martin, Sarah Martin (Rebecca), Bethany, Joseph and Samuel Liberto; and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Mackenzie, Noah, Alexander, Jalen and Elliana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
