It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jean Hindman in Westernport, Maryland, born in Brandonville, West Virginia, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Russell and Pauletta Metheny; her siblings, Penny Metheny and Dean Metheny; and her son-in-law Danny Quigley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Chris (Mark Sprouse) and Kim (Bruce Engler); her sisters, Patricia Gutta of Morgantown and Joan Hill of Philippi, WV; her half-siblings, Earl Metheny of Potomac, MD and Betty Metheny of Silver Spring, MD; her grandchildren, Danielle Karlson, Nicole Finnegan of England, Dr. Ryan Sprouse of Harpers Ferry, WV, Casey Sprouse of Barboursville, WV and Cameron Sprouse of Morgantown; her nieces, Julia Stern and Nancy Hill; and also, Frank, Kim Gutta, Greg and Pam Gutta. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
