He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Clay and John Johnson. He is survived by: his former wife Malinda Abrams; his wife Malinda Johnson; his siblings, Charles "Phil" Fleeton (Mary) and Jean Burgess; his uncle Erman T. "Tiney" Clay; his children, Victoria Jones, Wilbur Johnson (Michelle), Steven Johnson, Tanya Johnson, Valencia Johnson and Denean Johnson; and his sisters-in-law, Dr. Debra Lee (James), Monique Palmer (Melvin), Monica Shaw (Bruce) and Lillian Kenner. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
