It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma D. Moreland of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, born in Prince Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on October 4, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Gorman V. "Bootie" Stallings; her husband John Edward Moreland; and her siblings, Delores Moreland and Michael Stallings. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra K. Moreland and Toni G. Vermillion (William, Jr.); her grandchildren, Shawn of Upper Marlboro and Tyler Vermillion of Upper Marlboro; her mother Delores B. Fowler (Fowler); and her brother Carlis Byard of Clarksville, TN..
