With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Herring of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on March 23, 2021 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Paul Supplee Herring and Margaret Welsh Herring; his grandparents, Charles Henry Welsh and Fannie Barker Turner; his wives, Naisby Waller Herring and Mary "Mousie" Purdon Herring; his friend Edith "Gibby" Edson; his children, Paula Herring Sothoron (Richard) and Peter Naisby Herring (Josephine); his grandchildren, Benjamin Naisby Herring (Cara), Tilghman Rice Herring (Krysta), Sarah Bowie Herring, Naisby Wallop Camponeschi (Eric), Turner Harrison Sothoron (Elizabeth) and Carling Naisby Sothoron; and his great grandchildren, Katherine Naisby Herring, Emory Edward Herring, Charlotte Anne Herring, Harrison Cash Sothoron, Hadley Denison Sothoron, Bennett Wallop Herring and Margaret Rea Herring.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, any memorial donations may be given to the Marlborough Hunt Preservation Foundation, 621 Traveller Court, Lothian, MD 20711.
