It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ozabelle Jones (Upper Marlboro, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lubunner McCray and Munson; her daughter Beatrice Gertrude Jones Ross; her husband Clarence Sr.; and her siblings, Helen Day, James McCray, Mary Fox, Minnie Taylor, Ernestine Smith, Joseph McCray, Agnes Pickett, John McCray, Albert McCray, Jean Green and Frederick McCray.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Artis Olivia Jones, Clarence Edward Jones, Jr. and Fredrick Dion Jones; her grandchildren, Curtis Ross, Kierstyn Jones and Fredrick Wilbon; and her great grandchildren, T'avyon, Kae'von, A'yani and Cai'den. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Jb Jenkins Worship Center (1 Kettering Dr, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
