Smith; his daughter Dr. Kristen Gabriel (Jean); his stepson Charles D. Parker, Jr. (Paulla); his grandson Alex Gabriel; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Coley (Melinda), Odell Linwood Coley (Joanne) and Charles Coley. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
