He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Augustus Wright and Edna Dayhoff Wright; his wife Pauline Grimes Wright; his siblings, Frances and Herbert; and his sister-in-law Pauline (Beatrice Knill).

He is survived by: his children, Gary Wright of Sykesville and Connie Wright of Harvard, MA; and his sister Edna Mae Bruce (Bill) of Westminster.
