She was predeceased by: her parents, William O. Saunders and Hazel Allen Saunders; and her mother-in-law Luisa Iglesias. She is survived by: her husband Carlos S. DeJesus; her sons, Carlos S. DeJesus II and Travis E. DeJesus (Nikki); her siblings, Pamela S. Jones of Maryland and William Shayne Saunders of Texas; and her grandchildren, Tyler DeJesus and Kora DeJesus. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and a large extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Heart Association or charity of choice.
