It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Essie Dew of Suitland, Maryland, who passed away on February 14, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her stepsons, Leland Cherry, Leonard Hammond and Alonza Dew; her daughter Verna Carrington Shirley Young (Jordan); her stepdaughters, Lelia Cherry and Theresa Cherry; and her siblings, Robert Arnold and Ernestine Hyman.
We will be following the COVID-19 guidelines in distancing and asked that masks be worn for the service.
