He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua Owens and Dorothy Baker Owens; his grandparents, Theodore and Lottie Baker; his stepchildren, Faith Ann Bailiff, J. K. Rider and Jaime Gladding; and his brothers-in-law, Russell Wodkins and Robert Pasquith.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his son Darrin "Clay" Owens (Easton); his brother Wayne Owens Denton (Josafina); his stepson Bill Rutter (Candace); and his brothers-in-law, Wendell Riggin, Joey Riggin Eden (Kathy) and Raymond Riggin Snow Hill (Teresa). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren.
