She was predeceased by: her husband Wilson E. Davis; her parents, John W. S. "Codge" and Viola Justice; and her siblings, Jim Justice, Agatha Price and Irene Poulson.
She is survived by: her former husband W. Kenneth Smith; her daughter Kennedy Smith (Leslie Goransson) of Arlington; and her friends, Bill of Salisbury, Sandra Jones of Salisbury, Maureen of Salisbury, Pete Zapp of Salisbury, Ken Willey of Naples, Fla., Dale Sloan (Jim) of Takoma Park and Nancy Hourigan (Tom) of Toms River, N. J.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Meta dearly loved animals, and the family suggests making a contribution to the Humane Society of Wicomico County (5130 Citation Drive; Salisbury, MD 21804) to honor her memory.
