She was predeceased by: her husband Garry Mumford; her grandparents, William, Ella Mae Purnell, Clifton, Sr. and Mildred Shockley; and her aunts and uncles, Shareefah Salahuddin, Gail Purnell, Edna Everett, Anthony Purnell, Robert Shockley, Clifton Shockley, Jr., Stanley Barnhill, Robert Schuler and Sylvester Hudson.
She is survived by: her parents, Ira "Buck" Shockley and Darlene Shockley; her siblings, Quincy Shockley (Terri) and Lynn Smith (John Barkley); her godchildren, Thomas Green, Arthur Tyson, Jr. and Kiran Helene Iverson; her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Mumford-Miller, Ada Jenkins (Billy), Connie Mumford, Oather Mumford (Wanda), George Mumford (Beverly) and Howard Mumford (Lavette); and her aunts and uncles, Willie Hudson, Barbara Barnhill, Janice Schuler, Lola Shockley, Doris Anne Parker, Elder Edith Shockley, John Everett, Sr. and Abdur Salahuddin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
