He was predeceased by: his parent Carroll Charles Leatherman; and his wife Carolyn "Cookie" Kline-Leatherman. He is survived by: his parent Rebecca Louise Leatherman (Shank); his brothers, Mark Leatherman (Marrilee Harrigan) of Washington, DC and Thomas Leatherman, Sr. of Wolfsville; his nephew Tommy Leatherman (Hillary); and his niece Rhonda Wastler (Jared).
