He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Shaw and Helen Airey; and his siblings, Thomas Sawyer and Vivian Burke. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Shaw; his son William "John" Shaw, Jr. (Tracy); his grandson Grady Shaw; and his siblings, Bernard Shaw (Geniene), Wayne Shaw (Andrea), Calvin Shaw (Joy), Charles Airey, Margaret Ott, Lee Ann Garcia, JoAnn Sorbo (Frank) and Vicki Airey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
