He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard and Lena Eskridge Chaffinch; and his brothers, Robert Chaffinch and Roland Chaffinch. He is survived by: his wife Madeline Ann Phillips Chaffinch; his daughter Kathryn Chaffinch Adkins; his son-in-law Paul Adkins; his daughter Molly Chaffinch Dall; his son-in-law Raffaele Dall; his granddaughters, Lauren Adkins, Caroline Adkins, Sofia Dall and Erta; his brother Ronald Chaffinch; and his sister-in-law Mauree Chaffinch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
