He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Allen Norman Sr. and Hilda Mae Norman-Davis; his stepfather Harry Davis, Sr.; his wife Doris Ruth Norman; and his siblings, George Norman, Sr., Virginia Norman Fox, Charles Norman, Sr., Robert Davis, Sr., Harry Davis, Jr., Donald Davis and Joyce Davis Osterwalder.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Leether (Edward) of Salisbury, MD, Richard Norman, Jr. of Salisbury, MD and Mark Norman of Annapolis, MD; and his grandchildren, James Richard Leether II (Leslie) of Princess Anne, MD and Kristina Leether of Salisbury, MD. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
