He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Fields and Frank Fields; his siblings, Emma Fields, Robert Earl Fields (Scooter), James Fields (Tom) and Joe Jones; his daughter Trudy Conway; and his nephew Samuel Fields.
He is survived by: his daughter Dana Rae Jones (Fig); his siblings, Jesse Fields, Earnest Jones and Hester Jones; his grandchildren, Allan Purnell, Jr. (Little Al), Sheree Garner (Muff), Tara Smith (Tpot) and Khadijah Jones (Worm); his great grandchildren, Jada Patton, Shakur Drew (Tank), Alorah Patton (Cissy), Gavin Purnell and Ava Purnell; his friend Lawrence Dale; and his granddaughter Kyana Alvira. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
