She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Jones and Bessie Jones; her husband Elton Hales; and her sister Helen Hales. She is survived by: her children, Judy Clark of Salisbury, MD and John Hales of Salisbury, MD; her brother Dr. Richard Jones (Pamela) of Solomons, MD; her grandchildren, William Clarke (Renee) of Parsonsburg, MD and Jennifer Smelter (Andy) of Berlin, MD; and her great grandchildren, Hannah Clarke, Hope Clarke, Savanah Johnson and Mason Gillespie.
