It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ann Shaheen of Salisbury, Maryland, born in Hallwood, Virginia, who passed away on October 24, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith Thorne and Evelyn Gladys Groton Thorne; her husband John Raymond Shaheen; her children, John Jeffrey Shaheen, Jody Benjamin Shaheen and Jonna Elizabeth Davis-Smith; and her sister June Tichnor.
She is survived by: her children, S. Jay Shaheen (Arlene) of Salisbury and Jennifer S. Butler (Richard) of Nashville, TN; her grandchildren, Angie O'Neal (Robert), Colton Shaheen (Molly), Travis Butler, Dillon Shaheen, Katie Shaheen and Billy Tingle; and her great grandchildren, Ian, Keegan, Grant, Maverick and Alice.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Allen Memorial Baptist Church, 1303 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804.
