It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Matthews (Salisbury, Maryland), who passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon "Bill" Truitt and Clarita Roberts Truitt; and her husband Nelson Matthews. She is survived by: her sons, Rayvon Truitt (Devoria), Donnell Truitt (Shakeisha) and Dontra Truitt; her siblings, Leola Ballard (Leroy), Joan Maxfield (Jerome), Eleanor Truitt, Sylvia Truitt, Virginia Jackson (Thebbie), Errond Truitt (Martha) and Clifton Truitt (Debbie); and her aunts, Iantha Gattis and Thelma Evans. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
