He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elmer Staton and Florence Banks Staton; and his son Michael Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Henry Staton; and his daughters, Lisa Hutson, Laura Fedukovich (Randy) and Elizabeth Fritch (Drew). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
