We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2021, at the age of 89, Irene Elizabeth Brumbley of Salisbury, Maryland, born in Federalsburg, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, G. Earl Johnson and Helen Rathel Johnson; her husband Walter Joseph Brumbley; her son Richard "Dicky" Joseph Brumbley; her granddaughter Jodi Brumbley; and her siblings, Jeanette Shockley, Raymond Johnson, Lola Mae Lemon, Lois McDowell, Karen Rosen and Herman Mumford.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Cain (Donnie) of Frankford, DE, Thomas Brumbley (Beverly) of Delmas, Haiti, Ben Brumbley (Jackie) of Salisbury and David Brumbley (Anna) of Pittsville; her grandchildren, Stuart Jones (Liz) of Dagsboro, Lindsey van Niekerk (Arno) of Salisbury, Kasi Lyndaker (Ben) of Salisbury, Tisa Elliott (Rick) of Salisbury, Kristen Brumbley of Salisbury, Melissa Calloway (Danny) of Pittsville, Clay Brumbley (Michaelina) of Georgetown and Sunny Cain of Roxanna; her great grandchildren, Caleb Jones, Callie Jones, Maya van Niekerk, Lily Lyndaker, Paxtin Lyndaker, MacKenzie Elliott, Kayton Elliott, Stella Trice, Josie Trice, Mason Calloway, Addie Calloway, Alex Corpus and Ace Karpin; her siblings, Gloria Jean Goff (David) of Laurel, Bonnie Jewell of Richmond, VA, Bob Johnson of Seaford and Albert Johnson of Seaford; and her sister-in-law Gladys Johnson of Salisbury. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
