Hicks (Sally); his sons, Donte Smith and Emanuel Lee Smith; his stepson Marquese Nyshere Lawson; his brother Shellavene Lawson (Densie); his stepsisters, Angela Ballard and Denise Tucker (George); and his grandchild Emmie Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
