He was predeceased by: his parents, David Jason Morris, Sr. and Frances Wooten; his daughter Sandra Lynn Morris; and his grandson John Michael "JJ" Tatum, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Armentrout; his children, Carla Long (Bobby), Christina Bozman (Buddy), Nicole Twiford and Shannon Tatum (John); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Christen, Chad, Grant, Madison, Logan and Ashlynd. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
