He was predeceased by: his mother Lillian Hitch Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Della Dameron-Johnson; his daughters, Nina Hammond (Alexander) and Nicole McGee; his sister Betty Carol Davis; his aunt Elsie Hughes; his grandchildren, Douglas Schoolfield, Johnathan Shaw, Shenequia Spann and Nia Hammond; his great grandchildren, Travon Johnson and Damone Lookadoo; his great great grandchild Da-Nae Schoolfield; and his godsons, Dallas C. Taylor, Jr. and Keith White. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
